Book Publicist

Book PublicistMilton has orchestrated many successful award-winning public relations programs, which has seen his clients profiled in publications such as People, Newsweek, Forbes, Parade, TV Guide, Sports Illustrated, USA Today, Time, Entertainment Weekly, Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, AARP, Money, etc. and television shows including Oprah, The O’Reilly Factor, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Early Show (CBS), Late Show, with David Letterman, C-SPAN, CNN, and Sean Hannity.

An example of Kahn’s work was when hockey legend Gordie Howe called upon Milton to publicize Howe’s self-published autobiography, and…Howe. The marketing and public relations strategy resulted in Howe selling all 100,000 copies printed. The Santa Barbara based publicist opened the door for Heisman Trophy winner and All-Pro Football Hall of Fame great Tony Dorsett landing a starring role in Roger Corman’s motion picture Kill Zone which also starred David Carradine.

Milton Kahn was the recipient of The Southern California Book Publicist Award - Best Publicist of the Year for publicizing and promoting James Halperin's science-fiction best-selling novel The Truth Machine. This same award was given to Jack Canfield the year before for his work on the Chicken Soup For The Soul books, which have sold over a 100 million copies.  Canfield was the first recipient of this award.

As a result of Kahn’s personalized one-on-one success, he has become one of the most sought after publicists in the United States, representing authors and publishers as well as motion picture, television, sports and corporate clients.
